what packs come in a halo otsd?

i haven't been following this, and i don't feel comfortable looking it up online at work, so could someone explain to me what this halo odst is? i've never played halo, but i want to start, so this is a good game to jump in with? tia

It's a new Halo campaign where you play as someone other than Master Chief (4 player co-op support), Firefight multiplayer mode (can be played online), Halo 3's full multiplayer with some extra maps (which is amazing), and beta access to Halo: Reach when it becomes available.

It's well worth it according to most reviews, a solid place to jump in for the variety between single player and the two multiplayer modes. You could also just get Halo 3 on the cheap these days.

Bleh... Halo is just a lot of 'fun'... a stupid button-masher if you ask me... it's fun for people to play at a 13-year-old's birthday party and for video game "shut-ins" who still live in their parent's basement... but bleh... just... bleh...

I just don't care for halo for some reason. I just play games like Call of Duty and see how there is so much better out there. My view on Halo is also brought down due to people "jocking" on Master "Chef" and how he stars in the "greatest video game ever". Sure it was special when it first came out but Halo is a 8 out of 10, and considering how many "tens" I've played in my life, Halo is nothing special.

I play it in my own basement. i'm probably a video game shut in. and i mash buttons. and i have fun. but i don't want anything to do with this 13 year olds bday party b/c i probably won't be able to drink there while i play.

Heh, man... doesn't it feel good sometimes to just "mash buttons" and have "fun?" Honestly though, Halo's much deeper than you give it credit for. I mean, it's not Civilization IV, but when I feel like playing Civ IV, I'll play Civ IV, and when I feel like blowing up some fool with a rocket, I'll play Halo.
